Account Manager (Nationwide)

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial to sell a variety of information technology products and services.
 

Primary Responsibilities

* Present and sell company’s products and services to current and potential clients.
* Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets.
* Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
* Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
* Prepare presentations and proposals.
* Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
* Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
* Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
* Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
* Identify and resolve client concerns.
* Prepare a variety of reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
* Communicate new opportunities and feedback gathered through field activity to supervisor.
* Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
* Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
 

Additional Responsibilities

* Participate in marketing events such as in-house seminars.
* Follow-up for collection of payment.
* Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

* A minimum of 1 year sales-related experience
* Intermediate to advanced computer skills required.
* Ability to persuade and influence others.
* Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
* Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
 

Working Conditions

Schedule is very flexible. You may schedule your own work hours. Work require some local travel to current and potential clients. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
 

Salary

Salary is entirely commission-based. Company will reimburse for approved travel expense.
